Togo Statue Erected in New York Park

Seward Park in New York, recently underwent a $5.9 million renovation which now features new pavements and curbs, benches and tables. It also has a storytelling alcove, fitness equipment, lighting, plants and new lower fences.

But more importantly, Seward Park is now home to a bronze statue of Togo.

Disney+ worked with NYC Parks to install a plaque alongside the statue of to honour the famous dog that trekked the 260 miles to help deliver life saving serum to children in Nome, Alaska

Richard Bailey, along with his wife, Faye started the Northernwolf website way back in 2003 with a view to helping other husky owners who had questions about this amazing breed of dog. The website now caters for all other sled dog breeds.

    Nice to see that Togo has now got recognition that he so well deserved along with all the other brave men and there dogs
