The Kuskokwim 300 sled dog race is the premiere mid distance race in the world and is known as one of the toughest races in Alaska.
The 300 mile stretch goes from Bethel up across the tundra and Kuskokwim River to Aniak and back again.
Some of the worlds best mushers have entered the Kuskokwim 300, including Peter Kaiser, Nicholas Petit, Lance Mackey and Jeff King.
