The Husky Trail 2019

The Husky Trail (7th April 2019) is perhaps the most unique of events, spending five days sledding through the rolling highlands and deep forests of Lapland is guaranteed to be an experience you will never forget.

Your challenge will be to sled 250km from Norway, into Sweden through untouched nature, in order to finish at the world famous Ice Hotel (the original!) in Jukkasjarvi!

Beginning in the Arctic city of Tromso, you’ll be taken to the Dog Sled Centre in order to meet your new companions. After meeting and greeting your new furry friends, you will dive straight into the spirit of adventure and spend your first night in a traditional Lavvo, surrounding a roaring fire.

This challenge is suitable for all, full training will be given – all you need to join is a thirst for adventure!

This is no ordinary challenge – you will be required to erect your own tents, cook for yourselves and fulfil all camping duties with the equipment provided. In addition to looking after yourselves, you’ll also be responsible for looking after your team of huskies – be assured, this is a true, “hands on” wilderness challenge!
