Jessie Holmes, star of National Geographic’s Life Below Zero TV series, continued his preparations for the 2020 Iditarod this week.
His lead dog, Kors has been a priceless leader for Jessie’s team since he bought him from Jeff King back in 2005.
He went on to win the Yukon Quest 300 in 2016 and the Kobuk 440.
Jessie, who won Best Rookie in his first Iditarod, is hoping his months of training will see him in good steed for this years race of over 1000 miles from Anchorage to Nome.
Lead dog, Kors is expecting to father his first litter this Summer, passing on his super tough work ethic to his offspring.
This years Iditarod starts on Saturday 7th March 2020.
