Matt & Sarah

For as long as I can remember I have always loved huskies, and dreamt I would one day own one of by own. I never realised that my dream would one day come true, and that I would be fortunate enough to own two of the most
beautiful sibes in the world. (I'm sure you will disagree and say that your sibe is the most beautiful, but this is my page, so mine are!) But to be fair i've never seen a sibe that's not beautiful, so really you're all beautiful.

When me and my girlfriend (now fiancée) moved into our new house, I started to think a lot more about owning my very own husky. I research every book, searched through countless websites and talked to anyone that would listen to me about huskies; this was quickly becoming a real passion of mine. The more I read and found out about these amazing creatures, the more and more I dreamt of owning one.Eventually the time came when me and Sarah decided it was about time we started to look around and find a breeder.

I count myself very lucky that we came across Faye and Richard, as I couldn't have dreamt of finding better breeders that shared such passion for their sibes. I got in touch with Faye, and she was extremely helpful, and after lots of questions and chats we went to go view a litter of pups. After that first visit I was well and truly hooked, and went a few more times as the pups grew. And then 6 weeks after the first visit we went to pick up our very first husky, I can't explain how excited both me and Sarah were. We had already named her Skye; she was a tiny white girl with bright blue eyes. We left Faye and Richards saying our good byes with Richard joking 'see you when you come back for your second' little did we know that a week later we would be back picking up our second husky in as many weeks, this was to be Shadow our gorgeous black and white girl with the most piercing blue eyes.

Well that's how it all started. The girls are coming up for 5 months old now, so they have only been in our life's less then 3 months, but they are so much a big part of our life's, we could not be without them.

Skye is cheeky, very confident and a little bit cocky some times, she is adorable and a real daddy's girl. Skye can be a little nightmare but I find it impossible to be mad at her.

Shadow is quite the opposite of Skye; she is a lot more reserved and quite shy around others. But she has her mad moments, where she will run round and round the garden (usually when its wet outside) then shoot into the living room have a pee on the rug (even though she knows to go outside) and then jumps on to the couch, and by this time is closely followed by Skye. Its hard not to laugh at times, don't think Sarah finds it that funny though! She is very chilled out and loves to lay about and relax, that is, she would do if she ever got chance! Having Skye for a sister doesn't leave much time for taking it easy. Skye loves to play, run, fight and jump and insists that shadow joins in on the fun. When they start it is like a mini tornado ripping through the house. they also have a habit of hiding in the bushes when Sarah lets them in the garden in a morning, she usually has to go out and find them before they will come back in. its like they are playing hide and seek and don't give in till you come and look for them.

Life certainly isn't dull living with two sibes. We love them both so much, I wouldn't chance them for the world. We take them everywhere with us, they get so excited when they know they are going in the car. We go for lots of walks and the girls love meeting new people and other dogs. I could not believe how much we used to get stopped by people when we first started to walk them, a 10 min walk to the shop would end up taking well over half an hour. Now we only get stopped when we take them to the beach or somewhere new. I don't mine though, because I love talking about my gorgeous girls, as you may have gathered. At this rate if I carry on Richard will have to make me my own web site just for Skye and Shadow.

I will also take this opportunity to say another huge thank you to both Faye and Richard for there help and support they have give us.Hope to see you all soon!

Lots of love Matt, Sarah (and bump), Skye and Shadow xxx

p.s  if you are thinking about getting a husky please do your homework on the breed and make sure that it is the right breed for you. They are truly amazing creatures but will not suit everyone.

Matt & Sarah first came to us looking to buy their first Siberian and had clearly done all their homework on the breed. After taking home Skye, it wasn't long before she got a friend. In fact, not long at all, as a few weeks later she was joined by her sister, Shadow. We are delighted that they stayed together and have bceome part of a happy and loving family, now along with baby, Kacie Leigh, whom the girls adore. You could say that Matt & Sarah's happy family is complete (however I think Matt has different ideas.) Now that he has started working the girls we think Matt & Sarach will be introducing a new member to the pack in the future. Like us, Matt has the drive and passion for the breed and is constantly learning more and more for the love of his dogs. We are so happy that our girls are part of this kind of love. Matt & Sarach are great people and have become great friends, to us and not only does their friendship mean a lot to us, but the life they haven given Skye & Shadow truly means the world to us. Thank you guys for everything. I'd also like to say that Matt & Sarah have the most well behaved Siberians I know, so whatever you're doing, you're doing it right. Your girls are true angels. As for Kacie Leigh, she truly is an angel, well done guys, she is gorgeous.
