Two Stolen Huskies
THE distraught owner of two stolen Siberian husky dogs has made a desperate plea for their safe return.
The dogs were stolen from the back garden of a house in Chelworth Road, Kings Norton, Birmingham, between 5.30pm and 7pm on Friday, August 12.
Sharon Hawketts has had the dogs since they were puppies. Zaid is a seven-year-old male and has one black eye and one blue eye. The female, Zana, is six years old and has blue eyes. Both dogs are micro-chipped
The 49-year-old, who works for a dry cleaning firm, said: “We really don’t know why they were taken.
“The back gate had been kicked in and they tried to break into the house, but it was locked.
“We think it was just opportunist and they just took the dogs instead because they were there, We just want the returned safely.”
Anyone who has seen the dogs, or has been offered the dogs, can call West Midlands Police on 0345 113 500 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
